The proof? You are in Calcutta about to go into a stall with $20, just enough for a famed meal that you have been relishing! But before your eyes a mother with 3 starving kids is beaten and the only Dr. available insists she will not help unless $20 is paid in advance.
PLEASURE insists you spend the $20 on yourself. HOW HATEFUL THIS WOULD BE.
JOY insists you give the $20 to your sister's Dr.
Joy, as always when presented clearly wins.
But within the last day, probably, you caved to PLEASURE many times, with consequences seen by your POOR family JUST as HATEful as the above scenario.
