***** Sister J, McKibben's my brother. I love him. I believe it is existentially impossible that any of us, with any breath, to not do our best. He is doing the best he knows.
I could only stomach watching the last few minutes of this vid.
McKibbben is a stake through the heart of all hope - he has no historical, physical, technological, scientific... basis, excuse, for saying:
A. We may not win (this is criminal bankruptcy of leadership as he insists on ALWAYS saying it);
B. A new twist (?) - we cannot even pay the price that King's folks did - they won't shoot us - DEATH FAST???? FOR EXAMPLE????).
