Mount Whitney climb, among the 10 most difficult in the country. Pictures. Detail

This 10 mile climb to the Mount Whitney portal is rated among the 10 most difficult in the country for cyclists. Having just done the worst of it, and staying in the afternoon sun as long as possible to gather energy these are the key metrics.


PS. It is 7 in the evening, just saw the camp host in this almost entirely empty large Campground, Bill, my friend. Tonight is the last night that it is open. LOL. Who knew? Just 2 months left to the shortest day of the year. And yet we 900 pound payload climbed 4200 ft, 12 miles, 54-64 energy equivalent miles, good Sun but the final two hours were lost to the Rocky Mountains blocking the Sun, and the first two hours were lost to the sloppiness on the part of the operator, ending the day yesterday about 400 Watts down in the batteries. Yet we were able to complete the climb, cook 44 oz of hot water for coffee tonight and in the morning, and 3 cans of beans, tomatoes, and pasta for dinner, with 40% of the energy still in the batteries. Point being, this vehicle is extremely able now. Thanks to extraordinary dedication by the operator and help from a few friends. Oh, and some help from Creator whatever that is. I mean really, this is the last night it's open and this is the night we arrive? And although the operator was careful, this is a uniquely difficult climb, and two-thirds of the way the vehicle stopped. James was shocked to discover that one of the two controllers was much too hot to touch. Normally not a problem but on this climb he had allowed the ventilation on that controller to be blocked by a tarp after 10 minutes it was still too hot to touch. An absolute miracle that didn't burn up. Almost the same thing with the primary motor. Creator, or Hunger Games sponsors, whatever, decided to cut us some slack. Maybe because 67 year old stage 4 cancer survivor James did his part? He did the energy equivalent of cycling himself up this 1 of 10 or one of five most difficult bicycle climbs in the country, carrying his weight, and letting the sun and the motors carry the rest.

Cycling 900-pound ebike payload technique . detail




1. 100%, all, the entire power is in the scissoring, pumping, knees / thighs, and especially in the smooth complete high-stepping rise of each knee and thigh with every stroke. Everything seems to be set up by this. PUMPING IN ENERGY FROM DIRECTLY UNDER THE Vehicle at very low cadence, to a substantial angle forward depending upon the speed of Revolutions of the crank.. the angle is absolutely critical but quite clear if one thinks about it at a point in time as a function of thrust power and Cadence.

2. Operate within, as part of the machine, not acting on the machine. After hours of effective technique the body seems to find an extreme efficiency and Effectiveness space between easily staying part of the machine centered in the knees with low force and then adding just enough force that the full perimeter of the machine can be kept entirely throughout every rotation but substantial Force applied every centimeter of the stroke 360 degrees.

3. 100% limp, The Shins ankles feet. Completely counterintuitive. Their limp purpose is to give 100% freedom to the knees / thighs to circle, scissor, with in their full range of cycling /pumping. Miraculously, it works.

Additional considerations.

Relax fully in the stroke, as frequently as needed, to feel the extremes and limits of the range of travel of the knee thigh levers. Then gently but firmly add pressure within that full range.

Seek to pull energy into the vehicle with every inch of that full range, with every inch of travel.

In two weeks the vehicle should be up to the task of these mountains finally, and in 6 months finally out of red ink, thanks to for donations in the last 2 weeks. This update was just sent to the very largest of the donors explaining..... Hers, hers JH'S and YOURS donations are more timely and important than you know. The stresses on the vehicle continue and the evidence piles up that it is finally up to the stresses in part thanks to you. But there remain two substantial expenditures which thanks to you, one of my two dearest friends from Standing Rock, an unmet Facebook sister, and JH who donates $100 every month, met him on that March from Philadelphia to Washington DC, two major expenditures remain which we'll be able to make with huge credit card debt which will remain for six months but we can now sustain that. And if the vehicle is as stable as I think we're finally out of the woods and have all the capability that the environment requires. Every once in awhile a 13 or 14 percent climb pops up out of nowhere. A week ago the only place for 50 miles where we could park for the night was the Snoqualmie Casino. Beautiful, in the foothill mountains, and the huge parking lot required going down and then back up a probably 13 or 14 percent grade. We just barely made it. Any steeper and we were stuck, and way too much stress on the solar vehicle. And although it's a bit technical after excruciating failures, very expensive 6 months ago, regenerative braking is now possible and it is immensely important. But it is only semi permanent and still has risk to it that it could fail. In about a week I'll be back down on the Columbia River I expect where there are two extremely able machine shops that I've encountered. And with the donations of you four there should be the funds to really make this a permanent fixture. And with the stronger motor and the regenerative braking with the days getting so much shorter the new motor should substantially increase the amount of electricity we can put back in the battery going down these mountains. There, that's probably more than you wanted to know.

Update. More than a week of dry dock should be ending, passport should be arriving.... time will tell if a gigantic stabilization of this vehicle, durability, reliability, just took place. The odds are pretty good but the unknowns are there also. Why have these panels been failing? In Prior posts I've discussed that I think I know why, flexing primarily, but every variable I can see beside Ultra fragile design of the panels themselves have now been guarded against very substantially.

This is not how I wanted to spend 8 or 10 days. But it has been very gratifying. My engineering skills have been honed over a lifetime, and specific to this vehicle have been honed over the last couple of years and they all came together on this project.

It turns out that one can get data signal strong and still be considered roaming for phone calls. This accounts for the telephone blackout at such a dreadful time during this Dry Dock project.

With phone restored it now seems nearly certain that the passport is being shipped today for arrival at a local post office on Tuesday and upon retrieval of that the voyage North toward Vancouver and the grin Technologies manufacturer of the vehicles electronic propulsion systems are there with some interest in seeing the vehicle. But my motive is they are a pivot point on this industry for the world and it is important that they see this vehicle, that the seed gets planted in their mind. And it does seem that they have some interest, to my surprise.

If the passport is received as I expect, that in no way guarantees that I'll be allowed out of the states given my Decades of aggressive activism. But that will be interesting to see.

More than a week ago the plan was to spend time up at Mount Hood studying in the Magnificent forests up there and what materialized instead was 10 hours a day of working on the vehicle. Not complaining just observing. But if the vehicle cooperates as I expect it will the next 3 days waiting for the passport to arrive will be spent up in those woods, south of here by about 15 or 20 miles.

The founder and chief engineer and his number 2 are in a cross-continental Asian solar bicycle event until the 19th they tell me, these of grin Technologies, so that will yield about 2 weeks of travel time, a little bit less, which would be about 40 miles a day.

Five or six or seven people are the wind under the wings of this 2 year, 16000 mile Voyage at critical junctures each at their own time. The Pair of Hands that out a week ago was the difference between implosion and launching forward.

Update. Major repair, recovery, and preventive work on the electrical system.


This is an experimental vehicle, we have few if any like it in the country or in the world right now. It has taught very much about where the limits are and where the needs are and it keeps on teaching. It seems to be trying to kill me but with the decency of a few people that help the mission it has not killed us yet.

Recent days and another set of coming days, maybe another five or six, are being spent repairing, recovering, and doing preventive electrical work to do with solar panels, batteries, wiring.

If there were a team of us, adequate funding, stable suitable testing facilities this process would have happened quite a while ago and would be happening much faster now. And all of it would have considerably more certainty. Having said that under the circumstances I think the few people involved can feel that were all doing rather good work.

The work and Investments being made are not a matter of just doing more of the same. Further Investments and efforts are taking place only based on learning that failures thu's far provide. We may well be at the light at the end of the tunnel. Without question we are getting much closer. Solar panels have been failing and almost certainly it is due to either the shocks and vibrations of this form of transportation, possibly major design flaws from the solar panel manufacturer (a new manufacturer is now being tried) , and possibly electrical spikes in this complex vehicle, and within a week that latter cause will be protected against with new diodes, and additional measures are being taken to eliminate the issue of vibration and shock. And regarding the battery failure which amazes leading Engineers, they don't understand it, within a week there will be new protective measures, diodes, protecting the existing and soon new battery.

Update. Very important mission progress, possibly. If it doesn't kill you you grow, and we're not dead yet.....

1. My dealing with people. When people approach me very often it is a harsh encounter for them. Most who approach want to be entertained, that's their right, but it's my right to not spend my time entertaining them. I never seek to offend and I avoid it to the degree I see how. Although I have yet to try this it occurred to me today how to see and speak the truth in a way that might be much more productive than I have seen how to do now. "Friend, please take no offense, but I'm dealing with a series of emergencies here. Everything anyone wants to know about the vehicle is at my website, the first thing that comes up if you Google start loving." I am dealing with a serious of emergencies. This is where I choose to live, every breath. The world is and has been for decades a Cascade of unfolding emergencies. I believe that life is found only in the face of those. And that's where I have planted myself my entire adulthood as best I could see how. But I have not thought to speak this to those that approach me wanting entertainment. I think it's going to be a big help.

2. Crushing financial situation with the vehicle, moving further into debt with a tiny Ray of Hope. A friend of the mission has stepped up with some funding that will go a substantial part way toward dealing with the failure of the major battery and almost all of the solar panels again. In addition one of my two credit card companies, my owners, I am in a position for a very low interest situation for some number of months. So by going more deeply into debt gambling that in fact the vehicle is becoming more stable, Maybe infinitely more stable almost, it's a roll of the dice and we'll either die or maybe survive. Time will tell.

3. Passport, travel schedule. Additional documentation had been requested, understandably given my facial tattoos and years of dropping out of the system in Washington DC Etc, and Friday I confirmed that the documentation has been received by them. They know I am trying to get into Canada August 7th and apparently they try and work around such dates. Middle of next week a clearer picture should emerge. If I do get a passport which I expect to that still leaves the question of whether I am on lists from my years of activism in DC and standing rock that will cause them to prevent my going into Canada at the border. That will be interesting to see.

Financial Lifeboat badly needed. Donation would be great but Could be in the form of a substantial short-term loan. The vehicle has received tremendous small medium and large upgrades over the last nine months and longer that have made it ever so much more robust. Doing so has cost every penny and more but it has been worthwhile. I am totally willing to let this thing die but not prematurely and it would be premature now. So I'm prepared to go even deeper into debt but I'm putting the word out there that if you know anyone that has substantial Financial Reserves that won't hurt themself to contribute either a donation or a loan it would be extremely timely right now. A $700 battery is now dead. Unknown why. But it's dead. Recent climbs here in the Rockies have shown me that it is past time to have a more powerful., $600, motor mid vehicle. And there are ongoing issues, unknown cause as of yet that are causing solar panels to fail. The mission needs $1,000 to keep afloat right now. If you know anyone that would like to help without hurting themselves, which I will not allow, now would be an excellent time to let me know. I'm almost certain that the answer is no, but it would be irresponsible of me not to put the word out. James

Status report. This is my $20,000, replacement cost, tiny home, car, bicycle, Recreation vehicle, vacation home, office, exercise program, health program... . (At volume it would be 70% or even 50% of that). Other pictures here give you some idea of where we live, physically, our property, our real estate, our neighborhood. If this experimental vehicle stabilises we will be able to live on income equal to the federal poverty level. If I had twice that, or 10 times that, or a thousand times that, I would continue to live as I do with no more money spent on myself because I don't want anything beyond what I have for myself. I also don't want to eat sand. I have only 12 hours of productive time per day ever since the major cancer treatment and operations. But those 12 hours are spent as best I know how working for goodness in creation because that is where I find Joy, the opposite of pleasure, and I find joy entirely preferable to pleasure. When I unknowingly worked for pleasure my income was 200 times the federal poverty level, and it was not enough. I spent just as much of my Waking Life working then as I do now. 100% of it. I need several billion dollars, seriously. Deadly serious. I would use every penny as I use every penny now, but much more amplitude is needed, to sell joy as the exact opposite of pleasure, a fact of which we are systematically and totally ignorant and or Worse, misinformed.

FAQ solar cycle RV.



Does it run on solar?
Come on friends, you mean, do I carry 7 solar panels for decoration? This or some variation is the most frequently Asked question. Come on guys, respect your intelligence.

Is it a bike or does it have a motor? 
Probably the number to question. Please friends, you're much smarter than this. Why would it be one or the other? It can be powered by me and always is, my choice, and it has two electric motors to deal with all of this weight.

How far have you gone? Not far enough to make any difference. But in terms of miles, this the end of May 2018, roughly 13500 so far.

Where are you going?
Wherever I can make the most difference to increase someone's joy, and alleviate someone suffering, on this planet being murdered by we humans. Presently that has me going to beautiful places of nature to try and channel that goodness into the world in my writing, with photographs. Yes, it is incredibly pitiful, but it's the best I can see to do. The world is dying due to the lack of one thing, enough goodness.

What is this about?
The forward part of the vehicle was purchased about three years ago as a prop to sit on Capitol Hill where the Congress creatures Slither from their offices over to the Capitol to vote money for fossil fuels because we don't have the technology to harness the daily dose of sun we are sent. Needing to pass this solar vehicle within inches maybe it would make it a little bit more difficult for some congressmen to choke out there lies. Probably not. But it was the best I could see to do. By August of 2016 it was clear to me that whatever good that was doing was not enough, but no change will come from Washington, and that probably no will change will come from in the country but it was more likely to come from out in the countryside so I embarked on what I thought was a quick trip. And then back to my nice warm apartment before things got too cold. But I came to think that Standing Rock North Dakota could be a Selma Moment 4 our destruction of the planet so a 1700 my trip was undertaken arriving several days after Thanksgiving 2 hours before the first blizzard. Three months there and it on the last day in handcuffs with 47 others who it also stayed. Several months later the vehicle was repaired and the journey resumed now to the West Coast to possibly Inspire an engineer here or there to take the concept and do their own version. That mission was completed by San Diego in November. The winter was spent in the Joshua Tree California area trying to discern how to help in this determined to destroy itself world. The answer that came was, use every breath to simply try and channel a little bit of goodness into the world. I see goodness, Creator, in the kindness of one person to another which is extremely rare, and in nature which still can be seen in some abundance so I am spending my time in that abundance in California studying, researching, writing, and traveling to the next beautiful place where I can work online. I won't be surprised if this constitutes the rest of my days. But the instant I see a better way to serve I'll do that.

How far can it go?
How far can a sailboat go? It depends, right?  Comfortably I average 40 or 50 miles a day. Weeks or months go by without needing to plug in. Please see the data write up below.

How fast does it go?
This custom experimental vehicle has been designed for distance. Wind drag is a major factor in range of any vehicle but on a vehicle like this the effects of wind drag are extremely apparent as with any bicycle. So I have chosen to gear it for an average speed of 11 miles an hour which reduces wind drag and also increases torque available for climbing steep climbs which it can do. We are currently crawling around the Rockies. We just completed the climb to Whitney portal which is one of the five or so most difficult bicycle climbs in the entire United States.

Are you a Christian?
I am the opposite of a Christian. I attempt to be christ-like.

Did you make this?
I made none of the components, I integrated all of the components. Currently this is a one-of-a-kind experimental vehicle, sadly. Its original intention now abandoned because it's too late to make any difference, was to inspire others to do their own version, the way the Wright brothers plane was never much of a commercial success but it inspired others to make vehicles of the type. The forward part is a structure created by a company in Durham North Carolina, Organic Transit, called the elf. The rear pop-up camper RV, my home, was created by a wonderful young man I met at Standing Rock North Dakota to Winters ago. He designed welded and constructed this miraculous thing.

Can you sleep in that?
I do sleep in it, every night. Wouldn’t you?

How can you afford that?
How could I not afford this? Everything I or you consume destroys the future. Virtually everything. How can I do other than live as lightly on this Earth as possible? Everything else is unspeakably hateful. And how could I be so ignorant as to not understand what a joyful way to be this is? Look at the photographs that I post. The Lilies of the Field in all their splendor. The Magnificent, the little bit left, is my office. Often for free on so-called BLM land or similar government property. Or, like tonight, $4 a night on my senior pass. Even with a full day of travel the sun gives me enough energy for oatmeal in the morning and coffee, and boiled rice and Pasta in the evening.

How fast does it go?
It could have been geared for 20 or 30 miles an hour. The vehicle was designed for efficiency and range on the Sun not for Speed. A vehicle could be designed for Speed but on the third world United States roads it would require a substantial redesign to avoid being destroyed on the next pothole. As a point of reference I understand that the fastest production automobile is one of the Tesla electric vehicles. And some owners of Tesla vehicles generate the electricity they travel with, as do I, using solar panels on the roof of their home or in their backyard.

With 12 watt solar panels how do you charge 48 volt batteries?
Blue Sky energy, Genasun is the product name, manufacturers charge controllers that do exactly that. It's a wonderful company in California. Just Northeast outside San Diego.

What is the vehicle cost?
This is a one-of-a-kind custom vehicle. To replace it would cost probably $20,000. Bear in mind, this is a mobile home, RV, long-distance solar bicycle RV. Point being at 25% of the price there is a vehicle for around town or much lower use. Electric bike conversion kits start at two three or four hundred dollars.

How much are the solar panels?
The vehicle has 7 100 watt solar panels. A typical solar panel, 100w, in an aluminum frame and heavy glass costs about $80 although Trump is doing what he can to increase that. The bastard. Weight is a major factor in the efficiency of a vehicle so thankfully there are handles from companies like Suaoki that way just four pounds peace and are flexible and very durable. And very well supported I might add.


Does it have a radio?
Yes, it's called a smartphone, Galaxy S6, width earbuds. It is the Navigator of this Voyage with Google Maps. If one tells Google Maps it is a bike detailed elevation information is provided which is essential for calculating range. I have an application called at voice reads me articles and or books all the time that I'm traveling.


Does it have heat?
Yes, it is called pedaling, and it has me between warm and sweating within moments of beginning a journey. Also lots of layers of clothing and several sleeping bags. Works great. Nothing additional is wanted or needed.


Does it have doors?
What cyclist would want doors? You would burn up from the Heat. But I do have vinyl that can be velcroed to close up the open areas completely in the event of extremely hostile weather. I cannot remember the last time I have used them.


Data:

On level ground no wind this 700 pound vehicle, loaded, 850 including driver, takes about 50 watts per mile to move. On a reasonably sunny day Midwinter the vehicle generates about 1500 W solar, or 30 miles worth of travel, if I pedal fairly strongly all the time which I do because I like to. On a typical trip with my accurate instrumentation I can tell that I do between 15 and 20% worth of the distance, the energy, the work, between 7 and 10 watts per mile at 10 miles an hour. The two electric motors fueled by the sun do the rest. Midsummer it generates about three times as much. About a hundred miles a day's worth. And on days we are not traveling, and even days when we do, there's typically enough left over for a hot breakfast and a hot dinner. Electric kettle and electric pot respectively. An inverter converts the 48 watt power system 2 110.

Wind is a massive variable. A 15 mile per hour headwind consistent probably cuts the range in half for example.

Climbing is a huge variable. Each 100 foot climb costs roughly 50 Watts. A gentle Descent of a hundred feet will return roughly 20 watts, and a steep decline probably 30 Watts due to regenerative braking.

Instrumentation. The electronics from this system have been purchased from the world pioneers 4 Ebikes, grin Technologies in Vancouver Canada, who have been remarkably patient and generous for this vehicle and this effort which they have grudgingly come to see with some respect. They have a brilliant designer, Justin, the owner and founder, they source equipment manufactured to their spec in China and or find Optimal Parts in China and Market than worldwide through their website. And some of their components they manufacture in Canada. As with the entire e-bike industry support is lagging far far far far behind the technology. Someone with an appetite for getting involved technically and mechanically can have a vehicle for shockingly low price. Anyone else should be happy to find people to do the technical work and support work and or to pay the prices of e-bikes And ebike repair which is definitely available but not yet inexpensive.
Solar electric vehicle is very simple, we just haven't been taught, and we have been misled.

 The surgery took place on Friday and the patient seems healthy and much stronger. Dual motor regenerative braking is now a thing on this vehicle.  This has been maybe 6 months of arduous attempt with multiple catastrophes now. This is a major milestone. The vehicle can probably crawl pretty well around most of the Rockies now and it could not before. Safely, without braking all the time. But another roadblock emerged. The new inverter I have failed and the replacement will not arrive until somewhere between Wednesday and Friday. Not a tragedyy but I'll be in the area bit longer.

Major update. Major Milestone reached. Solid regenerative braking now implemented. This has been a six-month Quest. Major catastrophes have been incurred. But maybe now that Dreadful Saga is passed. Maybe now there is a vehicle that can tackle the Rockies. What a blessing that would be. I have almost wept in frustration at the incredible financial and emotional burdens this has incurred. No complaints. Major struggle. Maybe now secured.

Yes, no departure yet from Joshua Tree. Surgery on the vehicle is scheduled for Monday morning now. All is well in that regard. Things change. That major requirement from me by the world and its needs is for me to deepen my understanding of what's going on and more importantly to channel the goodness of the great Souls throughout history into this time. I think that is the work of all of us but it is certainly mine. The vehicle has been so demanding do to my unintended overstress that it has distracted me from the central work but for the last several days study has resumed. Over a hundred and fifty books have been assembled for this work with an immediate priority on roughly 13. Hopefully by Monday afternoon it will be clear what level of transformation in terms of capability has occurred with the vehicle from the morning surgery. It may be that it is now considerably able on Sirius Mountain terrain which is the Hope because maybe the next year will be spent in and around the Rockies. Reading is what is needed from me primarily to channel goodness into the world but to channel neck natural goodness is also needed of me. So it is my goal to move slowly from place to place of natural beauty for this work. Joshua tree is such a place and it is quite affordable which is important because the vehicle has totally drained all Financial Resources these last two months. It may well be the more weeks will be spent here in Joshua Tree.

Major update 2/25. It has been many many weeks here in Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree. No more than....

Major update 2/25. It has been many many weeks here in Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree. No more than a few days was ever anticipated initially. The combination of major disasters with the vehicle, opportunities to strengthen the vehicle against vulnerabilities that have always been known to exist, the need to find footing in this sinking Titanic world, the need to follow the call of what to do, have all contributed to this long stay. Also contributing is how hospitable this region was to all those tasks, a auto mechanic young man who had an appetite and skills to dig in on risky issues, an affordable Community oriented volunteer Campground Recreation Center that has been generous and helpful in terms of daily rate, weather that has been less than the winter cold of North Dakota last year, although the winds probably are worse. Today after several months of attempting, a final low risk plan exists to solve the final major issue with this vehicle, regenerative braking sufficient to deal with the 900-pound payload. Creator willing the implementation will take place tomorrow morning. Winds permitting departure will then take place Tuesday morning for a brief travel South for warmer weather, to see slab Mountain, to then swing towards Phoenix waiting for the weather to warm sufficiently that a track Northwest can take place to see the sequoias. It appears that what's needed from me is to channel goodness in the form of History's Greatest Souls into this 2018 World by channeling it more deeply into me. So my major obligation to Creation is to read and read and read and read and read. And this I can do if I drive at a slow enough Pace that I don't keep breaking the vehicle. The combination of major disasters with the vehicle, opportunities to.....  strengthen the vehicle against vulnerabilities that have always been known to exist, the need to find footing in this sinking Titanic world, the need to follow the call of what to do, have all contributed to this long stay. Also contributing is how hospitable this region was to all those tasks, a auto mechanic young man who had an appetite and skills to dig in on risky issues, an affordable Community oriented volunteer Campground Recreation Center that has been generous and helpful in terms of daily rate, weather that has been less than the winter cold of North Dakota last year, although the winds probably are worse. Today after several months of attempting, a final low risk plan exists to solve the final major issue with this vehicle, regenerative braking sufficient to deal with the 900-pound payload. Creator willing the implementation will take place tomorrow morning. Winds permitting departure will then take place Tuesday morning for a brief travel South for warmer weather, to see slab Mountain, to then swing towards Phoenix waiting for the weather to warm sufficiently that a track Northwest can take place to see the sequoias. It appears that what's needed from me is to channel goodness in the form of History's Greatest Souls into this 2018 World by channeling it more deeply into me. Update. It is a miraculous vehicle and I am really very privileged to have it. It is also crushing me financially but I have no complaints. Maybe it.....

It is a miraculous vehicle and I'm really very privileged to have it. It is also crushing me financially but I have no complaints. Maybe it will crush me every month or maybe this is the last month. It could be the last month barring any being hit by a semi. I don't know how many years it took the Wright brothers to get the formula right on their plane and have it stabilized. Creator has really shown kindness here I think to the mission. Joshua tree is a tiny little town that has some pretty decent folks, a grungy little auto repair place with skills and abilities that isn't too expensive. Same regarding the bike shop. Same regarding a thrift store. The place I stay every night is very centrally located, a large Sandlot by some fairly nice volunteers I think who are community-minded. It has a bathroom and shower and security cameras . Several weeks ago we agreed on $13 a night. Probably this afternoon I will contact them and see if they're ever going to come and collect? Really. It has been a bit extravagant except I've tried to justify it by cooking all my meals for myself from the grocery store and also because I could set up a pup tent and leave Surplus things there during the day while I work on the vehicle. Like any new market the ebike market is plagued by an incredible lack of available knowledgeable consultation and that is a reason that I've probably spent two or three times as much money as a pioneer as the next guy after me would have to spend. But it goes with the territory and I am helping to Pioneer an important Marketplace. Fortunately I know as much about this now as most people in the world by far and unfortunately I have few to share it with. I'm hoping that this afternoon the final piece Falls in place. There is a controller which they are concerned with overheat given the thousand-pound weight of my payload but I think now that I have two Motors it will be really the perfect solution. And if so this vehicle is now a bit faster, probably 16 miles an hour instead of 13 miles an hour which is a lot, and probably can climb comfortably anything that gets in my way.

I have no idea is level in the organization. But at least it's someone. The Tesla car is not remotely revolutionary. It is still four thousand pounds worth of consumption. Now, a 1000-pound carbon fiber vehicle? That begins to matter.

The motor was destroyed due to an inadequate fix for regenerative braking. I'll be going into credit card debt of between 800 and $1,000 by the end of this month which will rectify the situation if current plans hold. The mission, the movement, of helping to re-establish the being we were born to as humans, the loving spirit of goodness in action ISM, has begun. That requires not only access for this Android a smartphone but also laptop which is not available here in the desert. So the current plan is to install the older week motor into the vehicle which should be able to get down into Yucca Valley. The attempt to install that motor will occur now this afternoon and if successful with regret this magnificent State Park will be left at least for now 4 WiFi access for the laptop down in Yucca Valley for some number of days.

A Cascade of problems a week ago so far has resulted in $300 in UPS fees alone receiving a electric motor on loan and shipping the primary motor to Canada for repair. I suspect it will be another $400 by the time the motor is received back from Canada and the repair paid for. The cause of the repair is a tenuous means of doing regenerative braking which broke a week ago and created major damage. The vehicle and I can continue to limp along with this Sword of Damocles handing hanging over our head, another failure of this inadequate gearing mechanism, or a solid replacement. A dear Soul, guardian angel, in Michigan, and a dear soul in a bike shop down in Palm Desert 40 miles from here each may have ideas on how to fix this. I suspect another $300 still will be required to implement either one. Prior times it has gone to organizations fighting for causes that I fight for. This time it was different. In line with my recent writings of my recent Revelations, this time it went to people that to my soul I see as doing good to attempt to amplify the amount of good they do in the world. There of course is some alignment with the causes that I have fought for but not always. Air feeds life whether it is in a city or a town or the United States or somewhere else in the world. Good is like that but much more important. It is a type of thing, good is. Everything is being destroyed because there is almost no good left in the world dominated by we hideous humanoids. What little decency there might be in the future depends upon increasing the amount of good. In no particular order at all the recipients of my winnings were going to be those individuals I know personally that essentially use their lives to do good, most breaths, some wouldn't be surprised that I would choose them in some wood not. Some individuals that I have watched on the world stage that have no idea who I am, Norman Finkelstein, Gideon Levy, Amira Hass, Jane Goodall..... and yes, some organizations, Jewish voice for peace, if not now, open Hillel .....  And I would have attempted to build an effort 2 establish what it means, a health psychology, work that Abraham Maslow began back in the fifties and sixties that I think was never carried forward. Of course it was not carried forward. The charlatan disgusting Professional Psychology has no interest in creating healthy people, just in treating people for whatever it claims are diseases for the money they can get from it, often what they treat are the few healthy souls in our society that refuse to adapt to a sick Evil deadly culture. And to administer These funds I would need to travel and it occurred to me that I would want to fund a 60 mile an hour version of the vehicle that I currently Drive which could be impossible particularly due to regulatory restrictions but maybe not. It occurred to me to take the lightest licensed three or four wheel vehicle available and to create a shell for it probably made out of glass and load it with gallium arsenide solar panels under some sort of servo-mechanism so that they could be constantly angled toward the Sun. Whether it was individuals or organizations, imagining Limitless money sort of, the attempt would be to find out how much their work was constrained by lack of how much money and to supply that on a one-time or annual basis. In all likelihood Bernie Sanders and his organization would receive a large portion of the funds. Also a few individuals that are so cruelly treated by the world, I would attempt to set up a trust so that each of them would receive A tiny amount of money that they could live on for the rest of their lives.
