HATE BEGETS HATE. SL Comment to Isreali Benny Morris LA Times Op Ed

Op-Ed On Iran, a stark choice, Benny Morris

SL Comment ---------

StartLoving at 7:01 AM February 14, 2012 Mr. Morris, hate begets hate as Dr. King reminded us.  In the case of Israel, Hatefulness begets Hatefulness.  Let's start there.  Yes, for right wing Israelis, the world, the universe, revolves around them.  Uh, no, I err.  The universe IS them.  To them, clearly America exists entirely to do right wing Israel's bidding, and the Palestinians, and the rest of the Arab world are at best nuisance rodents to be controlled and exterminated when possible.  This is hateful friend, and if you don't get your right wing buddies to acknowledge the rest of us as humans, equally worthy of consideration, lives, due process....Israel will, as did Soviet Russia, cease to exist, which is what the detestable Iranian regime has said.  Have you no shame?
Yes, Iran must not get the bomb. You needn't bring your Holocaust hysteria into the mix to argue this.  In doing so, you disgrace and defile the memory of those poor victims, and further draw hate on Israel by making so plain your detesting of the rest of us.
And you needn't bring your hysterical nonsense suggesting that given the bomb, Iran hates Israel so much that it will bring annihilation on itself just to extinguish Israel.  There is one country in the middle east where we've seen that type of craziness over, and over, and over.  It isn't Iran.
The biggest threat to Israel is it's own right wing's Hatefulness to the rest of the world. Stop it.
