Kerry urges Democrats to elect Elizabeth Warren to be part of 'the team'

GWDF2 D14a Nov 2012, 2-3 day Book Slowdown.  Being 'Schooled' by the DNC convention -

I sure didn't anticipate this, but I'm allowing myself to divert several days now to being 'schooled' but what I'm finding to be brilliant, humane, scholarly, substantial speeches at the DNC, on:
  • Humanity
  • America
  • Values
  • Economics
  • Good vs Evil
I don't know that we've had such a collection of serious citizens, patriots, intellectual and moral power, so intensely and seriously focussed... since the founding of the Republic -
  • Michelle
  • Cory Booker
  • Castro
  • Clinton (Soul-less, but utterly brilliant; savant-like)
  • Elizabeth Warren
  • Fluke...
  • ... and tonight Pr. Obama
Were I expecting to live, or if I had more simultaneous lives, I'd spend days or weeks internalizing the immense wisdom on display here in the videos and transcripts.  But having only this one, and not expecting to live through the year, I still find that this is such an immense educational opportunity on so many levels, I'm diverting at least several days to the convention, and cspan replays of key speeches.

And this will divert me from Book 2, that I've been crawling toward for years now - bringing the Carbon portion of the brilliant, cursed, convoluted, inspired - Plan B 3.0 by Dr. Lester Brown to the same 'Actionable Essentials' treatment I just gave Dr. Hansen's work.

If I had 10,000 more lives, seriously, I know how to get this big stuff fixed.  But with just this one?  Not looking good.

But I'll keep doing my best.

“Corporations are not people,” Warren said...

“Corporations are not people,” Warren said, speaking rhetorically and directly to Romney. “People have hearts, they have kids, they get jobs, they get sick, they cry, they dance.”

Michelle: This election "is about how we want our democracy to function for decades to come."

"More than any other in history is about how we want our democracy to function for decades to come."

GWDF2 D14b Abdominal pain fully returned. Huh?

What is going on?  For 2 or 3 days it was in remission for the first time in months.

Now it is fully back, tho not like that night that sent me to the ER, yet.

Damn.  I'll not go back to the doc because it seems too likely that she's sending shrinks after me, as a matter of protocol, I suspect, for being on Death Fast and refusing the tests that are indicated.

Doc Cardile is a dear, and the shrinks aren't bad, but, heck, how could they be better than the rest of our societal Matrix?  I'm just street person.  I'm someone that has rejected the Matrix and has to be 'helped' back into it.  "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," all over again.

Uh, no.  Not on my watch.

I'll just deal with the pain.
Not much longer now.
